A social impact executive and thought leader with 25+ years at the forefront of nonprofit and corporate philanthropic initiatives, Theresa is a sought-after advisor providing strategic guidance and partnering with boards and CEOs. She has helped raise $500M in growth capital for nonprofits across the US, developed partnership with 250+ global organizations to drive social change, and built high performing teams to generate 10X revenue growth and deliver $115M in charitable giving.
With deep experience across a range of organization types – nonprofits, grant-makers, startups, publicly traded F500, and privately held SMEs; and industries – media, professional services, technology, education, hospitality, and arts and culture, Theresa’s expertise is in business-building, revenue enhancement, philanthropy and impact storytelling to elevate brand value. She has worked with and advised some of the world’s largest companies including American Express, Dell, Ford, HP, Lexus, United Airlines, and United Healthcare; and high impact nonprofits including Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Black Girls Code, UN Foundation, Share Our Strength, Friends of the High Line, The Children’s Aid Society, EMP Museum and many more.
Theresa is the Founder of Impact Atelier, a strategy and communications company helping organizations meet today’s impact imperative. She was the Chief Social Impact Officer at CBS Corporation, the Chief Impact Officer and Chief Services Officer at Givewith, a social impact technology platform, and the Chief Operating Officer at the Whelan Group, a nonprofit consultancy. Theresa holds an MBA from Loyola University New Orleans and a BA in History from Tulane University.
