Sheri Signer
Principal, Program ManagementSheri is the Principal of Program Management at Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, working with the Systems and Solutions team. Her work focuses on operations, internal support, and improvement of processes. She is responsible for collaborating with internal teams to initiate, track, and complete major organization-wide initiatives. Sheri works closely with Operations including, Grants, Knowledge Management, IT, and Human Resources.
Sheri has spent almost 20 years working with nonprofits focused primarily on areas she is most passionate about: arts, culture, and food justice. Prior to joining Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors in 2022, she worked with City Parks Foundation where she helped to develop and administer the Green / Arts Live NYC grant, a fund supporting artists and cultural organizations to perform free events in underserved green spaces in New York City. Sheri has also held various roles in project management, partnership development, and operations with Slow Food USA, Jacob Burns Film Center, Film Society Lincoln Center, and Clinton Global Initiative along with several small, local organizations in New York and Colorado.
Sheri received her undergraduate degree from Purchase College and studied in the master’s program in Arts Administration at Teachers College, Columbia University. She enjoys the arts, local food, and the outdoors with her family as much as possible.
