Ayana Bartholomew

Ayana’s most recent role was as a program analyst at the Carnegie Corporation of New York, where she contributed to national initiatives for transforming public education systems. Before that, she served as a program officer at the Robin Hood Foundation, specializing in early childhood education and childcare. Prior to her philanthropic work, Ayana worked at the City University of New York’s Office of K–16 Initiatives, where she was involved in diverse programs aligned with the New York City Department of Education. Ayana earned a BA in mathematics from Smith College and an MA in urban education from the CUNY Graduate Center.
