Austin Murray
Director, People & Culture Strategy and Organizational EffectivenessAustin joined RPA in October of 2020. As the Director of People & Culture Strategy and Organizational Effectiveness, Austin is a leader on the HR team and plays a key role in strategic planning, implementation and measurement, HR operations, internal communications and employee engagement. Her former HR experiences include HR Generalist at Carolina Ballet, Employee and Labor Relations at Northwell Health, HR Business Partnering at Northwell Health, Career Coaching at NYU and Immigration and Visa Sponsorship advising at NYU.
Austin is a SHRM-CP and holds a master’s degree in HR Management and Development, concentrating in Organizational Effectiveness from NYU.
Prior to her career in HR, Austin worked in the performing arts industry as a dancer, choreographer and dance teacher. After wearing many hats at various performing arts organizations, Austin founded her own dance school, Lumina Dance Arts, in West Caldwell, NJ. She enjoyed running all business operations, teaching and mentoring young dancers, providing need and merit-based scholarships and work studies, and directing live productions for the community.
Austin currently lives in NYC with her Husband and dog, Loki.
