Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors recently concluded in-depth research on how strategic time horizons decisions in philanthropy decisions are made, and how those decisions impact the overall approach.
This webinar dives more deeply into this research, and will feature examples and personal experiences of two foundation leaders:
- Ellen Friedman, Executive Director of the Compton Foundation, which recently announced the decision to become a time-limited entity that will spend down its remaining assets within seven years; and
- Valerie Rockefeller, Board Chair of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, currently an in-perpetuity organization that regularly reviews its philanthropic timeframe.
Along with Olga Tarasov, RPA Director of Knowledge Development, these insightful leaders provide webinar participants with an in-depth understanding of how strategic time horizons impact philanthropic giving. The panelists also address considerations for organizations that are contemplating a change to their approach.
